No cookies

This website sets no cookies and stores nothing in your browser’s local storage, neither for analytics nor for advertising.

Hosting and server log files

The website runs on a server in Europe operated by us. When you visit it, technically necessary data is processed (IP address, time, requested address, browser identifier) to deliver the page and keep the service secure. The legal basis is our legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

Fonts

The fonts on this site are served from our own server. No connection to Google or any other third party is made.

Contact form

When you write to us via the form, we process your name, email address, topic and message in order to answer your request. The legal basis is taking steps prior to entering into a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) or our legitimate interest in answering enquiries (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). The data is sent to us by email and kept only as long as needed to handle your request.

Spam protection (Cap.js)

To protect against spam we use Cap.js, which we host ourselves. Your browser solves a small computational task (proof of work). No cookies are set, no data is passed on to third parties and no profiles are created. The required program files are served from our own server.

Analytics (Matomo)

To understand how this website is used, we run Matomo on our own server (matomo.webxio.at). Matomo works without cookies. The usage data collected (e.g. pages viewed, time on page, browser type) stays on our server and is not passed on to third parties. The legal basis is our legitimate interest in designing the website according to its use (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR).

This website links to projects we have built and to GitHub. Their operators are responsible for their content and data processing.

Your rights

You have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction of processing, data portability and objection. To exercise them, write to office@webxio.at. If you believe the processing of your data violates data protection law, you can lodge a complaint with the Austrian Data Protection Authority (dsb.gv.at).
